Oh how time flies when you’re havin’ rum… So say’s the Barefoot Man on his new 16 song CD just released. To keep the shoeless fans happy the album is the usual mix of witty double-innuendos, a touch of country and lots of island flavor. The title song
“TIME FLIES WHEN YOU'RE HAVING RUM” was composed for Barefoot by Grammy award-winning song writer PAUL OVERSTREET. Barefoot also performs his cover of Bertie Higgins “YOU JAMAICAN ME CRAZY”. The majority of the new releases are Barefoot originals (with the help of fans who pass on song ideas). Now if you think that the famous Nipper’s ocean-view deck is the coolest spot in the Bahamas…  wait till you hear “SHE LOVES MY DECK”. And never forgetting the boaters, yachties and fishermen (and fishergirls) that cross the gulf stream to hear him perform the 'Foot presents cut number # 3 “SMALL DINGHY”. Other “loony-balmy” hits could be DESPERATE HORSE WIVES, FLIP FLOPS AND POP A TOPS and THE BALLAD OF BUSH AND CHENEY (Just in time for the elections).
